RAJOURI, July 30: Giving a clarion call to civil society of Kashmir to defeat the nefarious designs of anti national elements, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today made it clear that the growing radicalization in Kashmir is a cause of concern and it will not be tolerated at any cost now.
The appeal to civil society of Kashmir was made by the Party through a political resolution adopted at its Working Committee meeting here today.
The resolution which took Pakistan to task for sponsoring terrorism in Kashmir valley said “the Pak sponsored terrorism has entered a new phase in Kashmir and money is being pumped freely to keep the pot boiling.”
It appealed to the people of the State to fight for national cause in uprooting terrorism from the State. Besides, it also called upon the Government to deal with militancy in the State with heavy hands and no mercy should be shown to militants and their sympathizers.
The political resolution which was presented by BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma was seconded by Minister of Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Abdul Gani Kohli. It said that the religion is being used to instigate Kashmiris in the name of Nizam -e- Mustafa. “The growing radicalization in Kashmir , widespread use of religious places for instigation, disruption of operations of security forces by local population, emergence of strands of militancy driven by Caliphate and shrinking space for nationalists are the causes of grave concern and the same can’t be tolerated now.”
The resolution made it clear that in a democratic country, there is no scope for Dar-ul-Sharia or Nizam-e-Mustafa and for betterment of people of the State and the overall progress of all three regions, BJP stands for peace and it is for Nizam-e-Aman.
The Working Committee through the resolution also deplored the anti national role of the separatist Hurriyat leaders in fueling terrorism as well as their involvement in hawala transactions for terror funding.  It said the Hurriyat leaders have been totally exposed as paid agents of Pakistan.
The recent arrest of eight separatist leaders has brought to fore the black deeds of the many front rung Hurriyat leaders, the resolution added.
The Working Committee through the resolution also applauded the policy adopted by the Central Government towards Pakistan and against the separatists as well as terrorism. It said the Union Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been successful in isolating Pakistan in the international community for encouraging, breeding and feeding terrorism not only in India but throughout the world.
The resolution said that the proactive policies of the Government of India in exposing separatists has paid dividends and the secessionists elements in the Valley are losing the ground as common masses of Kashmir have started  questioning their antecedents.
It, while strongly condemning the recent attack on holy Amarnath pilgrims, said that the attack has demonstrated strong resolve of the nation to fight terrorism. “Instead of decreasing, out of fear, we have seen yatra increasing manifold after attack. India knows way to fight back and that we will”. The Party made it clear that BJP will always stand for fighting terror with force and standing with victims of terrorism.
The resolution said the escalation of aggression on borders due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan has met with befitting response from brave Indian soldiers. The borders are alive with firing but the denizens living there are in high spirits and are standing up with the Army in this fight against the enemy. “We believe in living with dignified peace and not in silence at face of aggression”, it added.
The Working Committee has also welcomed the Union Government decision to grant Constitutional status to OBC Commission.
It, while appreciating the role of armed and para military forces who are serving the State making sacrifices for the cause of nation showed its respect and gratitude to them. It also acknowledged the crucial role being played by the State forces in maintaining law and order at the cost of making personnel sacrifices.
However an amendment to this point was made by some Working Committee members who demanded that J&K forces should be paid compensation at par with Central security forces. This amendment was adopted by the voice vote.
The other amendments to the resolution were that the recruitment for remaining 3000 posts for Kashmiri migrants be made on war footing basis and the KP children serving in Valley be provided proper security and safety.
The resolution urged the Government to construct the bunkers on war footing and deal expeditiously with cases of border firing and to increase benefits and grants to them. Besides, it called upon the Government to take projects of tourism in all three parts of the State, complete the Lake Project in Jammu and conserve water bodies in the region to promote tourism and ecology.
To arrest the growing unemployment in the State, the resolution urged the Government to create new jobs for unemployed youth of the State and also formulate more schemes to adjust youth in self employment, besides regularization of daily wagers, seasonal workers, contractual employees in phased manner. Further it called upon the Government to process Dogra certificates issue expeditiously and similar certificates be given to residents of Leh-Ladakh region for better employment opportunities in armed forces.

The resolution urged the Government to grant political reservation to Scheduled Tribes which is a long pending demand of the community, besides making special rehabilitation package for farmers to mitigate their sufferings.
The Working Committee also made an appeal to Government to constitute a Committee to reconsider Reservation provisions so that the benefit goes to actual deserving members of the community and is not confined to influential or financially well placed class within community.
