SRINAGAR, Sept 15: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and election Incharge for Jammu and Kashmir Ram Madhav today said that BJP will create history in the upcoming Assembly polls.

“The election will be historical and BJP will also make history in these elections”, Madhav said while addressing the party stakeholders and functionaries in an organisational meeting here.
He said earlier BJP was considered an outside party in Jammu and Kashmir. But in 2014 the BJP broke that myth. “BJP was never an outside party, it is equally the owner of Jammu and Kashmir and was in Government also”, he asserted.
Madhav said BJP was in alliance with the Government in 2014 and had completely removed the narrative that it would never come to power in Jammu and Kashmir.
“We have to break another myth that in 2024 the people of Kashmir valley will not support the BJP and that has to be broken”, he said.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Srinagar on September 19 to address a public rally.
