JAMMU, Dec 20: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar said that the results of the Gujarat Assembly elections are a testimony that Narendra Modi will return as the Prime Minister for the third time in 2024
Sukhnandan Kumar, while addressing the gathering at Sowanjana area in Marh Constituency said that the party will win more seats in Jammu and Kashmir and even in Southern states of the country also, a region where the BJP is putting in efforts to make inroads.
“The Gujarat Assembly elections have created a sensation across the country. In 2024, the BJP will have an undisputed victory,” he said.
The BJP leader stated that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has given special attention to Jammu and Kashmir after coming to power at the Centre and added that the J&K LG administration has also made all efforts to mitigate the long pending demands of the general public. The corrupts have been booked and all the efforts are being made to have clean and clear administration in J&K so that only merit is given preference in Government jobs and good governance at the public offices.
Prime Minister Modi paid special attention to the J&K, Sukhnandan said, adding “We all must support Modi as the BJP is the only party who can develop the Nation to make our youth stand at International level in all fields”.
Citing the example of Gujurat, Sukhnandan said the BJP swept the Gujarat Assembly election with a whopping 156 out of the 182 Assembly seats, which is the highest number of seats any party has won after the formation of the State in 1960.
The former BJP Minister said it is now the largest mandate ever in the history of the State. With this win, BJP becomes the second party in the history of the country to have come to power for seven successive terms in a State. “In J&K UT also, the BJP will sweep all the majority seats as the people of both the regions of J&K want development and bright future of their children,” Sukhnandan said.
