RAJOURI, Dec 12: BJP J&K general secretary, Vibodh Gupta today alleged that democracy was replaced by corrupt regime in the previous Governments of NC-PDP and Congress.
While addressing series of indoor meetings at Muradpur and Bathuni during campaigning in favour of BJP’s DDC candidate Asif Choudhary he said “The Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi would reverse every historical blunder committed under the NC and PDP rule so that J&K could prosper and develop comprehensively”.
Describing the Gupkar Alliance of non-BJP opposition parties as directionless, Gupta said these parties had only one agenda in common and that was opposing Modi Government’s effort to restore democracy at the grass-root level and refraining people from getting empowered to safeguard ‘one family rule’ in J&K. He further said that voting BJP candidate in DDC election will further strengthen the party pledge to restoration of peace, prosperity and development.
Vibodh added that it is PM, Narendra Modi who gave real freedom to the people of J&K by ending dynastic rule of Abdullah-Mufti and decades long injustices. “Be it Gujjar-Bakerwal community, Pahari people or refugees, every section of society feels dignified under Modi’s vision of Sab Ka Sath, Sabka Vikas Aur Sabka Vishwas”, he said.
He said that the provision of Article 370 and 35A kept the people of UT in dark while it’s abrogation gave political reservation and forest rights to Tribal people, employment, elevation of private sector, relief to people living in border, refugees and women which conclusively strengthened democracy and local self-Government in J&K.
Speaking on the occasion district president, Rajinder Gupta urged people to vote in the favour of BJP candidate in DDC election.
Gupta strongly asserted that BJP will ensure easy victory over the candidates of Gupkar Alliance in Rajouri and greeted people for massive participation in the rallies and election campaigns organised by the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjeet Tara also appealed people to vote and support BJP candidate, Asif Choudhry for all inclusive development of the area.
