KATHUA, Dec 28: BJP workers held protest demonstration at Dayala Chak demanding immediate arrest of former Minister of State for Cooperatives, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma (Ex-MLA Billawar).
Reports said that BJP activists led by Sarpanch Chilak, Gobind Ram came to Dayala Chak along with public and held a strong protest demonstration against Dr Manohar Lal and his supporters for the alleged attack on a police officer. They demanded that Ex-MLA has already been booked but he could not be arrested so far. The protesters tried to block National Highway but the police restricted them in doing so. They demanded immediate arrest of the former MoS and senior Congress leaders, who lost elections from Billawar. After staging protest for some time during the mid day, the BJP activists dispersed.
