BJP works on the agenda of ‘nation first’: Sat

JAMMU, July 25: Former Minister and Ex MLA, Sat Sharma (CA) along with former Chairman, JMC and corporator Ward 26, Hardeep Singh Mankotia started development works near Peer Baba, Subash Nagar here, today.
Sharma was accompanied by local residents and political activists of the area. The works are being done under the City Grant Fund of Rs 27 lakh allotted to the corporator and several lanes of the area will be remodelled with interlock tiles.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that after dissolution of the State Assembly, corporators of BJP are working round the clock to develop their wards to the fullest and they have ensured that best quality works are done in their areas so that public can get qualitative infrastructure at their doorsteps. He said that BJP has always believed in the agenda of “nation first ” and all activists of the party are serving the society without any self interest.
Sharma also stated that Congress and its allies who are working on hollow slogans only, never bothered about the pain felt by masses during their tenure but now the nation has a hard working leader PM Narendra Modi who with his calibre took India to those heights which was only a dream before, he added.
Hardeep Singh Mankotia said that the long pending demand of the inhabitants has been resolved and maximum area will be covered under the works being taken up which will provide an adequate system to the locals. He also highlighted the works done by JMC for betterment of Jammu. He lauded the works done by former MLA to improve the infrastructure in the constituency.
Jatin Gupta, Dr Subash Gupta, Kaku, Nakul Tagotra, Nipun Malhotra, KD Singh, Sudesh Sharma, Dheeraj, Yash Pal and several others including party activists and prominent citizens of the area were also present.
