MENDHAR, May 21: Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president, asserted that the ten years of governance under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been a golden period for the common people of India and that on the basis of its unprecedented functioning the BJP led Government is all set to govern the world’s largest democracy for the third consecutive term after the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
The senior BJP leader said this while interacting with people at Mendhar area of district Poonch. DDC Member and district general secretary, Wajid Bashir Khan also accompanied the senior BJP leader.
Yudhvir Sethi said that during the ten years of BJP rule India has achieved unprecedented heights at the national and international level with priority focus on development at economic fronts. He said that India’s status at the global level witnessed an unprecedented elevation during the short span of ten years with Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi being the most sought after global leader to find solutions to the vital global issues.
The senior BJP leader asserted that the several flagship schemes launched by Modi Government proved to be the game changer in transforming the nation especially impacting the Indian economy benefiting the citizens through financial inclusion, excellent financial services besides strengthening banking sector and promoting entrepreneurship on a massive scale. He highlighted some of the significant schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Make in India, Digital India, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Smart Cities Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Startup India, Stand Up India, Skill India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Saubhagya Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, etc.
Sethi said that in order to ensure equitable development so that rural areas receive focussed attention, the Prime Minister has launched most of these schemes for rural areas as major portion of the land mass in the States and UTs across the nation. He said that the ultimate aim of implementing these schemes for the residents of rural areas is to make them self-sufficient and self reliant i.e. Atmanirbhar.
