JAMMU, Dec 3: Former minister and JKPCC general secretary, Yogesh Sawhney has alleged that BJP’s graph was falling as the party has been exposed for its failures and blunders committed in the past.
In a meeting of the District Congress Committee Jammu Urban held here today, the members discussed the key issues related to the recent developments in Jammu. The meeting was chaired by Yogesh Sawhney, who is also In-charge District president, Jammu (U). The purpose of the meeting was also to take up suggestions from various prominent District Congress leaders and review recent activities of the party to chalk out a viable strategy for future work.
While speaking on the occasion, Sawhney said that BJP’s graph has been falling as people are becoming considerably more aware of their blunders and failures. Therefore, various strategies and programs were discussed to strengthen the Congress party’s groundwork in Jammu district.
Sawhney further said that BJP is spreading fake propaganda that needs to be exposed in front of the people. The whole governance structure has collapsed in their regime as each section of society is disturbed and resentful. He said some BJP leaders are attempting to defame Congress party through dirty tricks. He asked Congress leaders to retaliate with truth and full might.
DCC leader further acknowledged pivotal issues related to the strengthening of the Congress party. He said that the genuine needs of the public should be addressed openly and that they should enable the public to recognise the ruses of the BJP and its divisive policies. He also addressed key strategies to overhaul the political and social system that he said the ruling party has ruined.
Prominent District Congress leaders who attended the meeting included- Dr Ramakant Khajuria, Sanjiv Panda, Rajesh Sharma, Vijay Singh Chib, Balbir Thakyal, Nassir Masih, Chander Shekhar Sharma, Atul Sharma, Sat Pal Sapolia, Gurmeet Singh, Michael Wazir, Viney Sharma, Vijay Malhotra, Pawan Sharma, Manmohan Sharma, Darshan Lal Verma, Sikander Khan, Ram Magotra, Rakesh Sharma and Yash Pal Sangral.
