SRINAGAR, July 26: The policy analysis and research cell of BJP today organized a special high tea event at Vintage Black Restaurant Boulevard in Srinagar.
The gathering provided a platform for an engaging discussion on the significant changes resulting from the abrogation of Article 370 in the region.
The event featured key speakers such as Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, Veer Saraf, Mudasir Wani, Sajid Yousuf, Advocate Sheikh Salman, and Sahil Bhat, all vocal advocates of Article 370’s abrogation.
They shared detailed insights and fostered an atmosphere of open dialogue and understanding.
During the event, the BJP announced two important events scheduled for August 5th, 2023, focusing on the impact and benefits of Article 370’s abrogation.
The first event, to be held at Municipal Park near the BJP office in Jawahar Nagar, will witness Advocate Sheikh Salman officially joining the party while as the second event is a marathon/rally, starting from Nehru Park and culminating at the Royal Spring Golf Course.
The rally will see participation from top athletes of the valley, demonstrating their support for the abrogation of Article 370. Advocate Sheikh Salman will lead the run, symbolizing the ongoing journey of progress in Jammu & Kashmir under the new regulations.
“These events showcase the BJP’s commitment to promoting transparent and inclusive dialogues about the developments following Article 370’s reading down,” read the statement.
The focus on participation and interaction underscores the party’s dedication to constructive engagement and awareness-building regarding the positive changes in the region, it said.
