JAMMU, Sept 11: One day State Executive meeting of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), was held at Party Headquarters Trikuta Nagar, here today. State president, BJP, Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the Session along with Senior leader, BJP and MLC Ashok Khajuria, State general secretaries, of the party Dr. Narinder Singh and Pawan Khajuria, State president BJYM, Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the work done by BJYM in Jammu & Kashmir and emphasised, to organise 6-National programmes of BJP at district level. Addressing the gathering Dr. Magotra presented a detailed report of activities organised by BJYM across the State.
The second session was about resolution, suggestions and organisational tour. Resolution was presented by State vice-president, BJYM, Eaijaz Hussain, Dr. Magotra discussed about resolution and organisational tours with BJYM activist , Third session was about Yuva Morcha and its role. Senior BJP leader and MP Rajya Sabha, Samsher Singh Manhas was chief guest in this session.
In the last and concluding session, Deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh was chief guest along with general secretary, BJP, Harinder Gupta and All Morchas Incharge Munish Sharma.
Dr Nirmal Singh while addressing the meeting highlighted various initiatives taken by Centre and State Governments for welfare of Youth. Dr. Singh stressed upon the organisational understanding which is key factor for the growth of organisation at grass root level. He lauded the role of BJYM in the past Assembly and Parliament election in which youth voted to BJP. He also reminded about the contribution of previous political activist who contributed to make BJYM strong force in State.
Terming BJYM an arm of BJP, Dr Singh the future leadership of Party emerges from it. He said BJP is ideological based Party whose only aim is not to attain power but the transformation of the society. Though India faced many upheavals from time to time due to foreign aggressions etc still our civilization and cultural heritage survived and world has become admirer to it.
He asked the cadre to work honestly and with dedication and fix a target before themselves.
He said both Central and State governments are working for welfare of all three regions of the State. He said that some elements tried to disturb the peace in Jammu region too but it was with the collective efforts of people of the region that their designs were frustrated.
About 80 members including State Office Bearers, Executive members and District Presidents attended the day long executive meeting. Dr. Magotra also announced Hari Om Sharma as State Media secretary and Ankit Gupta as Member, State IT and Social Media.
State general secretaries, BJYM, Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma managed the Proceeding on dais. Others who were present in this Executive meeting are State Secretary, BJP and Incharge BJYM, Sanjay Baru and Co-incharge BJYM, Adv Bhanu Partap Jasrotia.
Three resolutions were passed during the meet which included political resolution, resolution on nationalism and national security and package and policies for youth.
