JAMMU, Apr 18: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president for Jammu district, Ishant Gupta, on behalf of residents of Channi Himmat appealed Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, to take effective steps to solve water crisis in Channi Himmat.
Ishant took up the matter with Kavinder Gupta while the latter was on a visit to Channi Himmat for inaugurating a salon. He told Kavinder that people of Channi Himmat are facing water crisis because of irregular supply of water on alternate days that too for 15 to 20 minutes.
Local residents also told Kavinder that they are living in a posh colony but without water it will be a hell like situation for them to live. They requested the Speaker to redress their problem at the earliest.
Kavinder gave a patient hearing to the residents and assured them that the problem will be redressed as early as possible.
