The protestors demanded stern action against the officials involved in the entire scam.
Singh said that it is extremely unfortunate and shocking how corruption and brokerage are prevalent in the recruitment process, due to which deserving youth are being deprived of their rights to get jobs.
He warned that if the selection list of the Fire Brigade is not quashed, the BJYM would launch a massive agitation against this injustice.
Singh said that a high-level inquiry into this recruitment scam should be conducted and all those involved should be sacked and punished to set a strong example for fair recruitments in future.
The protesters also raised slogans against Farooq Abdullah during the protest and demanded action against Abdullah. The protesters appealed to Govt to take cognizance of Farooq Abdullah’s “anti-national” remarks on Article 370 in conext of China and take action against him.
