BJYM State chief calls on Poonam Mahajan

JAMMU, Feb 9: BJYM State president, Dr Suresh Ajay Magotra  called on the Member of Parliament, Poonam Mahajan at National Capital today and discussed wide range of issues related to Youth of Jammu and Kashmir with her. He was accompanied by BJYM national media secretary and incharge Jammu & Kashmir Rohit Chahal.
Dr. Magotra discussed organisational work to be taken p by BJYM across the State in view of upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He discussed in detail about the booth committees of BJYM, five youth at each booth with two wheeler and five youth who are active on social media. The other important topic was about the new voter, those who turns 18 and will vote first time during this Parliamentary elections.
Dr. Magotra also discussed about the self employment schemes for the youth of the State and said that youth wanted to work on their own and wanted to become job provider rather than job seekers. “We have a lot of resources in the State with which we can generate a lot of employment and self employment for the youth’’,. The Youth of the country has changed their mindset and wanted to compete at international level. If there will be a little support from the Central leadership, the Youth of the State can excel in their respective fields, he added.
Dr. Magotra also stressed upon the new initiatives to be taken in the State, introduction of Information Technology, software industry, entertainment industry, educational hubs, tourism hub etc which will not only help the youth of the State to get employment in their home State but will also attract the youth from other states to come to J&K, which will further increase the self employment in the State in non technical sector too.
Mahajan promised her full support and assured Dr. Magotra to take up the issues personally with higher authorities and solve these issues at the earliest. She complimented Dr. Magotra for strengthening the base of BJYM at ground level across the State and assured him of every possible support for increasing the youth cadre of the party.
