JAMMU, Jan 7: The ‘Laghu Panchang’ (calendar) published every year by the Bawa Kailakh Dev Mandir Prabandhak Committee (BKDMPC) was released today.
The ‘Panchang’ was released during a program held in the Temple premises, Thathar (Bantalab) in which Rajesh Gupta, working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Dr Chandramouli Raina were chief guests. Dr Shiv Raina was the special guest.
On the occasion, Rajesh Gupta said that this calendar is an easy means of information about fasts, festivals etc. in the family. He praised the development work done by the Temple Committee. He appreciated the ‘Sanatan’ work being done by the committee and appealed the society to follow ‘Sanatan’ traditions.
General secretary of BKDMPC Shakti Dutt Sharma gave information about the development works being carried out in the complex and said that efforts are being made to develop this temple complex as a cultural center and social work area.
Sanskrit Bharati president Purushottam Dubey, Committee Head Rampal Seth, Jyoti Mata, Pawan Gupta, Prabhakar Khajuria, Ved Prakash Raina, Ambedkar Gupta, Samgeet Mishra, Sunil Raka, Sahil Seth and Ravi Barna were present on the occasion.
