JAMMU, Mar 15: J&K Black Auto Union (JKBAU) members here today staged a protest demonstration and demanded that the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG should be brought under GST.
The protest was held under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, chairman JKBAU who demanded that e-rickshaw should operate in their allotted zones for which RTO and the SSP Traffic should check violations in this regard.
Addressing the protesters Dimple termed Rs. 2 cut in petrol and diesel prices as a big joke with the people of India.
He claimed that Central Government has already imposed huge road, toll and RTO taxes along with fines under MVA on innocent people of the country.
Dimple said that after starting battery buses and small battery run ten seater autos, the Government has totally destroyed the 50 years old auto and matador transport industry.
Sanjay Sethi, president; Haneef Choudhary, Ajit Singh, Amar Jeet Singh, Pawan Kumar, Chaman Lal, Vikram Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Madan Lal, Rameshwar Kumar, Ashok Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
