JAMMU, June 8: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor Amit Gupta today kick started blacktopping work at Ward-19 in presence of prominent citizens of the ward, here today.
The blacktopping work is being executed by the Public Works Department.
Later, Amit Gupta along with AEE and JE also visited Ward-19 and its surrounding localities and met with the locals. They put forth various issues of public importance such as construction and renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc.
Amit Gupta assured that all the issues raised by them to be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He further added that the all ongoing development works at Lajpat Nagar near Science College would also be completed in time bound manner that too with the cooperation of concerned Assistant Executive Engineer, JEE and locals.
Prominent citizens of the ward including Rajiv Gupta, Shashi Kumar Mantu, Sunny, Rinku Kumar, Anu Kumar and Shammi Kumar were also present there.
