BARAMULLA, Sept 12: ‘THE-SARA’, a registered Non Governmental Organization under its ‘Mission Compassion’ organized ‘Share the Warmth’ initiative for the benefit of border school children at Government Primary School Dawarpatti Paranpilla near Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, here today.
Under the initiative, Team ‘THE-SARA’ distributed blankets, sweaters and caps among 52 students of Govt. Primary School Dawarpatti Paranpilla in the presence of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri, Harvinder Singh (IAS).
Speaking on the occasion SDM appreciated the humane effort of the members of ‘THE -SARA’ to support the students of the far-flung border areas.
On the occasion, Zafarullah Khan Sarpanch Paranpilla and other PRI members were also present, while Headmaster of GPS Dawarpatti Paranpilla, Mohd. Mansha thanked members of the NGO for supporting the border children.
