JAMMU, Mar 11: In a much publicized Bus-Stand grenade attack in which two persons were killed and 30 injured, accused Yasir Javed Butt alias Chotu code Arhan son of Javeed Ahmed Butt was produced before Juvenile Justice Board by the police today.
The Board observed that the juvenile was produced by DySP Jaswant Singh SDPO who moved an application, for further remanding the juvenile in Observation Home R S Pura, Jammu for a period of 10 days.
The Board after going through the application and perusal of the CD file revealed that Juvenile present in the Board has been apprehended by the police station of Bus Stand in case FIR No. 12/2019 and offences U/S 302/ 307/ 325/ 323/ 427/ RPC 3PSSA and 16/18 ULA.
The Board observed that keeping in view of the nature of the allegations and the stage of investigation. Juvenile present in the board is sent to observations Home RS Pura for a period of 3 days. It also directed the Investigation Officer to expedite the investigation.
