RAJOURI, Mar 20: A “blast-like” sound was heard in Thannamandi area of Rajouri district late this evening but there was no report of any damage.

The sound was heard when a team of Special Operations Group (SOG) of local police was on an duty around 7.30 pm.
The nature of the blast is under investigation and the area has been cordoned off. Further details are awaited, the official said.
Possibility of a grenade thrown at the SOG team by the terrorists is under investigation, the Officials said.
However, no casualties or damage has been reported. Police officers and teams have reached the spot and a search operation has been launched.
