JAMMU, July 7: Superintendent Home of Residential School for Blind Roop Nagar Jammu today informed that Rahul Kumar, son of Natha Ram of village Kotli Gala Bana, R S Pura and an inmate of the school has been selected as Assistant Professor in music vocal by the J&K PSC.
Rahul was admitted in Blind School during the year 1998. He did his matriculation from J&K Board of School Education in 2004, graduation from Institute of Fine Arts Jammu in 2010 and Post Graduation from Jammu University through Women College Parade Jammu during the year 2013 and NET in the year 2015.
He stood Ist in all India devotional songs competition during the year 2006 at Katra Vaishno Devi and was awarded Gold Medal of 105 grams and was also declared best in the competition of Jammu Ideas in the year 2006.
While appreciating his dedication Superintendent said that Rahul has brought laurels for Blind School as well as for Social Welfare Department.
