UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: Police here today has solved a blind murder case within a week and arrested the accused.
According to Police report, on December 25, 2024, information was received at Police Station Ramnagar regarding an unknown dead body lying in Kunju Nallah falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar.
After getting the information, cops rushed to the spot along with a team of FSL and shifted the dead body to hospital for post-mortem which was conducted by board of doctors.
A case in FIR number 127/2024 was registered at Police Station Ramnagar under Section 103 BNS and investigation started.
SHO Ramnagar, Inspector S.D Singh constituted special teams to arrest the accused persons and after hectic efforts many suspects were rounded up from which one accused Ajit Kumar, son of Hari Ram, resident of Rumain, tehsil Ramnagar, district Udhampur was arrested from Palampur, HP last late night.
Investigation was going on in the case till last reports.
