SAMBA, Mar 15: M/s Karamhans Foods Private Limited Bari Brahmana in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu, and Blood Transfusion Department, Government Medical College, Jammu, organized a blood donation camp, here today at Bari Brahmana.
About 39 volunteers of M/s Karamhans Foods Private Limited donated their blood on the occasion.
Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, RC Puri, appreciated the spirit of discipline, devotion, dedication and enthusiasm of the people, who came forward and donated their blood.
An awareness programme was also held on the occasion in which Dr Vijaya Sawhney, HoD Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu, delivered a lecture and asked the participants to come forward for this noble cause by donating blood.
Director, Karamhans Foods Pvt Ltd, Sujaiv Jain and senior manager, Himani Bakshi, were also present.
