Blood donation camp held at Power Grid Station Jatwal

SAMBA, Aug 8: In memory of late NP Godrej and late BP Godrej, a blood donation drive was organized today on the occasion of their death anniversary, by Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited at 400/220 KV Substation Power Grid, Jatwal Campus.
The blood donation camp was organized with support of Accidental Hospital, Ghagwal and Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Rajeev Sharma, Chief Medical Officer, Samba, in presence of Dr Sanjay Sharma, DHO Samba, Dr Arun Sharma, Incharge, Accidental Hospital Ghagwal and other officers and officials from Power Grid Sub Station Jatwal and Godrej.
SK Chowan, Chief Manager of Power Grid Substation Jatwal was the first to donate Blood. Officials from Accidental Hospital Ghagwal also donated blood. More than 50 blood bags were collected of different blood groups on the occasion along with blood hemoglobin test done for all.
From Accidental Hospital Ghagwal team consisted of Dr Sandeep Raina, Incharge MO, Dr Neeru Pangotra, Medical Officer, Kewal Kumar Sharma, Senior Laboratory Technician, Amit Sharma Pharmacist and Megha and Shuvam Kumar, both volunteers.
The team of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar was comprised of Gurdeep Singh, Incharge, Blood Bank, Mohan Singh, Supervisor, Lab Technician, Manoj Dhar, Lab Technician and Vishal and Shubam Sharma, both volunteers.
Davinder Kumar, Senior Engineer, Power Grid Jatwal, Narender Sharma, Project Manager, Jyoti ParkashNayak, Safety Officer, Shivendra Singh, Electrical Engineer, Adars Chakraborti, Civil Engineer, Shantanu Laha, Civil Engineer and many others were present.
