JAMMU, Oct 1: Uflex Limited Unit-II, Bari Brahmana in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jammu Region and Blood Transfusion Department, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu organized a voluntary blood donation camp today at Bari Brahmana.
Theme of this year is ‘Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives.’
Besides this IRCS Jammu Region has also started the drive for organizing blood donation camps from Sept. 17, 2022 and organized more than five such camps to celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Sat Pal Shama, Secretary, IRCS Jammu Region while Parveen Tripathi, General Manager and Ajay Chauhan, HR Head Uflex Ltd Unit-II were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Pal Sharma requested the team of M/s Uflex Limited Unit-II to organize more such camps in future also to maintain adequate supplies and timely access to safe blood transfusion to save precious human lives.
The camp was supervised by Manish Shama, VC Dispensary Uflex Ltd while team of Blood Bank GMC Jammu was headed by Dr. Salvi Shama.
Around 25 units of blood were collected in the Camp.
