Blood donation marks birth anniversary of Maharaja Gulab Singh

JAMMU, Oct 18: Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha organized a blood donation drive at SMGS Hospital, Jammu, in honor of the 232nd birth anniversary of Maharaja Gulab Singh.
The event witnessed the participation of community members and medical staff while around 20 units of blood was collected from dedicated volunteers.
Among the dignitaries, present on the occasion, included Dr Dara Singh, Superintendent of SMGS Hospital; Dr Meena Siddhu, HoD Blood Bank; Dr S S Sambyal, and Balbir Singh, President of Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha (Rural) Jammu, along with other key members, including Mangleshwar Singh, General Secretary; Pardeep Singh, Rajan Singh, and Sukhdev Singh.
On the occasion, Balbir Singh, President of Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha (Rural) Jammu, spoke about Maharaja Gulab Singh’s significant contributions as a leader, warrior, and social reformer. He praised the Maharaja’s role in establishing the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir and shaping its future.
Dr Dara Singh and Dr Meena Siddhu expressed their appreciation for the Sabha’s efforts, recognizing the importance of such initiatives in saving lives.
