JAMMU, Nov 17: To celebrate the International Students’ Day and to promote Duggar traditional culture Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production started a three day campaign by presenting Musical Play ‘Vidya Daan’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Among guests of honour were J.K Raina, Freelance Producer Director, Mukesh Singh, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department and Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra.
The songs specially prepared on the theme were ‘Jago Jago Mere Desh K Nao Jawano’, ‘Hum Sab Ek Hai’ etc.
Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman of BLSKS.
The singers, musician, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who participated in the musical play were M.C Kotwal, Zulekha Farid, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Kuldeep Raj, Naiya Digra, Renu Bala, Richu Balbinder and many others.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Master Deepak Kumar.
