JAMMU, Mar 9: The artists of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) were felicitated by CCDU, WSSO Deptt. of PHE , I&FC, J&K State here today.
Dr Narinder Bhatyal, Executive Director (CCDU) lauded the efforts of artists/ office bearers / technicians of the organization for rendering their co-operation in exhibiting the most prestigious and wonderful tableau entitled “Soch Badlo To Desh Badlaga”, – with special emphasis on Save Water- Save Life on January 26, 2015 at M.A.M Stadium, Jammu.
The Executive Director further disclosed that the depiction in the tableau taking care of every component of mandate given to the Deptt. , has also been hailed by the Commissioner cum Secretary, PHE Deptt.
In an informal chat with artists, Dr.Bhatyal appreciated the artistic, visionary and innovative concepts of M L Dogra Chairman/ V.K.Magotra Manging Director of the organization for their contribution in offering a unique tableau to the people of the State. It was also revealed on the occasion that under dynamic leadership M L Dogra-the BLSKS has also designed / directed tableaus earlier for the Deptts. of Drug & Food Control Organisation-2012 & of NHRM-2013 on the themes entitled, “Drug Abuse” & “Save The Girl Child” respectively. These tableaus were adjudged best by theDeptts. concerned and people at large. Dogra former Regional Director of Song and Drama Division has vast experience of Light & Sound, Musical Production & Presentation of skits etc. Apart from Mr.Dogra, V K Magotra former Regional Director of Field and Publicity, Govt. of India, MD of the organsition is well-versed in mass-communication skills, has been awarded “Best Communicator” by the Ministry of I&B ,Govt. of India recently for holding Mega Public Information Campaigns in different parts of J&K State.
Dr. Bhatiyal gave away certificates to the artists /technicians /office bearers of the organisation on behalf of J&K state Govt. who contributed for making the magnificent tableau – most informative & attractive.
Under Saturday Musical Series, BLSKS also staged 40th Musical Play “Shakti” based on Women Empowerment on the eve of celebration of International Women Day at Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu.
