JAMMU, June 29: To celebrate ‘World Social Media Day’ Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today organized a programme and also staged Dogri Musical Play ‘Navi Soch’.

Pritam Kotwal, former Assistant Director Department of Youth Services & Sport; Dr. A.C Bhagat, former Chief Officer at Animal Husbandry Department and R.P Amla, Event Director were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest highlighted the importance of World Social Media Day.
Welcoming the dignitaries M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS said they have aware the students regarding social media sites on computer and most of the student open accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram, Youtube and Telegram.
“In a very short span of time, numerous social media sites have been emerged and are still continuing,” he maintained.
R.P Amla, Event Director said, social media is computer-based technology that facilitates the sharing of ideas, thoughts, and information through the building of virtual networks and communities.
