JAMMU, Aug 19: To celebrate Krishna Janam Ashtami, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production organized a Dogri Musical Concert ‘Makhan Chor,’ written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Music in the programme was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS and the programme was inaugurated by chief guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Anju Dogra of Health Department and Dr. Anupriya Sharma were guests of honour.
The programme commenced with song ‘Yashoda Hari Palna Jhulaue’. Many other songs and dances were also performed in the programme.
The chief guest threw light on the history of Shri Krishna Janam Ashtami.
Earlier the welcome address was given by M.L Dogra.
Artists who participated in the programme were Bindia Arora, Ujwal Sharma, Bodh Raj, Sunil Kumar, Gourav Kumar, Chahat Chadha, Bhoomika Chib, Neelam Chib, Shivani Chadha, Megha Raina, Vanshika Raina, Vandana Gupta, Azeen Ali, Taniya Gupta and others.
