JAMMU, Aug 23: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) presented its 13th musical play series, “Sangeet Natika” at its office compound, Durga Bhawan, here at Janipur.
The musical play was performed by famous singers MC Kotwal, Zulekha Farid, Ranjni Gupta, Rakesh Katoch, Devam Jandiyal, Bhoomika Chib, Dhruv Pandit, Rakeshit Sharma, Afroz Ahmed, Ekash and Raju Bajgal.
The Sangeet Natika was conceived and composed by music teacher, Raju Bajgal. This music event was presented in different episodes as acted by the actors.
On the occasion, K L Verma, famous Tabla Master, described the importance of music meditation for young generation. He said music can solve any ailment provided it is taken as medicine.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Neelam Chib, a social worker, Vijay Malla, president (IPTA) J&K Chapter and Romesh Chander, Event Director.
