BLSKS presents 260th Dogri Musical Play

JAMMU, May 11: To make the masses aware about the ill effect of drugs and to promote the traditional culture of J&K, BhartiyaLokSangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with SangamTru Art Production presented its 260th Saturday Series Dogri Musical Play ‘Nasha Nasao-Des Bachao’on the theme of ‘Drug Abuse’ at open air theatre, Shant Nagar, Old Janipur, here.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, Directorate of Health J&K Government alongwith VK Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India.
Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government and Dr Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K State were the guests of honour.
The chief guest highlighted the dangers of drugs and the seriousness of the issue.
Earlier, ML Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented welcome address, wherein he appealed the children to be the eyes and ears of the nation and urged them to put maximum efforts to make J&K State free from drug menace.
VK Magotra and MC Kotwal, General Secretary BLSKS also spoke on the occasion.
The singers, musicians, actors and the students of Music and Computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Dhruv Pandit, Chahat Chadha, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Renu Saproo, Diya, Bhoomika Chib, Simran Kumari, Simran Sharma, Rahul Raina, Neelam Chib, Megha Raina, Preeti Parihar, Sawan Kaul, Asha Koul, Geetanjali Parihar, Rudra Parihar, Devansh and Adhiraj Mahi.
