JAMMU , June 13, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in close coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM presented its 54th Saturday Musical Play series “Ganga Tera Pani Amrit” on the theme of water purification, water sanitation and save the water at open Air theatre, here at Durga Bhawan Janipur.
The Musical play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India .The Program was inaugurated by, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India and Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department, J&K Government, Romesh Chander, J.K Raina, Producer, Director of Doordarshan serials, Dr A.C Bhagat, former chief officer Department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government were guest of honors. The program was commenced with Song ” Ganga Tera Pani Amrit Pal-Pal Mela Hota Jaey”, “Ganga Par Kari De Ganga Mai”, “Jal Hi Jeevan”, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses & the music was composed by renowned singer Raju Bajgal and the song sung by the artists and students of BLSKS .
Earlier welcome address of M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS threw light the life of Sant Bhagirath who was a great king who brought the river Ganges , personified as the river Goddess Ganga, to earth from the heavens.
The singers, musician and actors who performed were Raju Bajgal (Instrument), Gunia (Dolak), Sant Das (Tabla), Usha Handoo, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, JK Raina, Rajat Verma, Komal Rajput, Rajni Gupta, Neelam Gandotra, HemRaj, Kamli Devi, Sunil Kumar, Miss Shivani Disgotra, Deevam Jandiyal, Maitri Salaria, K.K.Joshi, M.C.Kotwal, Rakshit Sharma, Dhruv Pandit, Pranavi Khajuria, Rajanya Khajuria, Samarth Gupta, Sanam Gupta, Vansh Raina, Darsh, Renu Saproo, Shaksham Khajuria, Abhyudaya Sharma, Rajveer, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, L-Danika, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Ayush Bhat, Rahul Wanchoo, Mohd. Afroz presented the enthrilled performance Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
