JAMMU, Nov 23: To promote traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented 288th Saturday series Musical Play ‘Beti Doo Ghar Ka Chirag’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production at its office compound Durga Bhawan, Disco More, Janipur, here.
The Play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, Former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Government of India.
The programme was inaugurated by JK Raina, Freelance Producer, Director Films as the chief guest, while VK Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India and Dr Tara Singh Charak presided over the function.
Earlier, welcoming the audience ML Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the story of the play.
The renowned musicians, singers and composers included singers Usha Handoo, JK Raina, KK Joshi, Kuldeep Raj, Rajni Gupta, Mahi, Mohd Afroz and Dharamveer.
Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
