BLSKS presents Dogri Musical concert

JAMMU, Apr 1: To observe the “World Autism Awareness Day” and to promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented 105th Friday Musical Concert Series “Parvish” during Quarantine Time at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur, here.
This year, the theme was “Inclusion in the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World”. The Programme was inaugurated by Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K. Among the guest of honours present were V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information, J.K.Koul, Free Lancer writer, producer director and chief patron of JK Bhoomi Welfare Society , Dr.Anju Kumari Dogra from Government Health Department, Jammu.
The day commemorated with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, primitive folk, Art, Culture of J&K region in particular and Indian nation in general. The Programme commenced with “Chupki si Batte Ankho main Chalke yehi Hai Meri Zindigi”, “Bachche Man Ke Sachche ”, “Hum Sab Ek Hai”, “Sab ki Suraksha dekhe Sarkar – Man Bacha na Rahe Koi Lachar”, Nukkad, Skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses.
The songs and skits were written by Dr.M.L.Dogra and music was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, BLSKS.
The day also focused on the issues facing the minorities in the country and lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful, effective and result oriented. Other awareness songs were also presented to aware the masses and upload online on social media for benefit of the people.
Welcome speech was given by Dr.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS. He said Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan also running free Music therapy centre for affected children from Autism, spectrum disorder. Music is a universal human trait.
Besides, artists who participated in the programme were Bindia Arora, Rakshit Sharma Ujwal Sharma , Bodh Raj, Adiraj , Ranjeet , Vandana Gupta, Rahul Kumar, Dhruv Pandit, Sunil Panita , Mukesh Singh , Davansh Verma, Rakshanda Bhat and many others. They enthralled the people with their performance. Deepak Kumar Dogra , presented vote of thanks.
