BLSKS presents ‘Malaria Chha Bacho’

JAMMU, June 10: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with STAP presented musical play “Malaria Chha Bacho” in its Saturday theatre series at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan, Janipur.
The play was aimed at drawing the attention of the masses towards vector borne diseases including dengue and malaria besides prevention from these diseases and their treatments.
Awareness items specially prepared on the themes like “Chara Da Bukhar, Roko Roko Malaria Gi Roko”, Bacho Bacho Dengu Kola Bacho were presented. Besides, skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses.
The singers, musicians, actors and students which participated in the play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, HemRaj, Deevam Jandiyal, Renu Saproo, Himika, Sakshi, Krishna, Dhruv, Rakshit, Ujwal, Sawyam, Bodh Raj, Ravi Kumar, Rahul, Divya Viyas, Mukesh Kumar, Jyoti Sharma, Maytri, Mitali, Deevam Jandiyal, Ananya and Bindiya.
The play was witnessed by over 150 people including students, Anganwadi/Asha workers, faculty members of educational Institutions and art lovers with keen interest.
While speaking on the occasion, chairman of BLSKS, ML Dogra told gathering that during the month, BLSKS will present 30 shows in Udhampur, Ramnagar, Tikri, Marh, Kot Bhalwal, Mansar and Akhnoor blocks to aware the masses.
