JAMMU, July 15: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented its 165th Saturday series musical play “Amar Katha” on the life of God Shiva and celebration of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2017 at open air theatre ,Durga Bhawan , Janipur Jammu.
The play was written on stories of “Shiva Puran” produced and Directed by M L Dogra. The Program was inaugurated by Tara Singh Charak and V K Magotra while R P Amla was the guest of honour. The program commenced with Shiv Satuti three Ved Mantras “Om Shiv Skalpamastu” and bhajan of Dr Karan Singh “Sunder Teri Arti Bhola Ji”, “Japoon Tero Nam Shiv Ji” , “Shiv Nath Teri Mehma” sung by the artistes of the organization. The musical play was highly appreciated by the audience.
Earlier in his address Dogra, said this is the cave which was chosen by Bhole Shankar for narrating the secrets of immortality and creation of Universe to Maa Parvati ji.
The musicians, actors, composers and singers including Usha Handoo, K K Joshi, Hem Raj, Raju Bajgal, Afroz Raaz, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma, Parul Sharma, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Bhumika Chib, Deevam Jandiyal, Surinder Verma, Neelam Chib, Vandana Gupta, Sumeeta Bhat, Shan Khan, Sunil Kumar, Arnav chib, Bhuvan Pandit, Saksham Khajuria and many others presented the enthralling performance. The programe coordinator Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
