JAMMU, Jan 10: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented a play ‘Bharat Mahaan’ in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe and ESRM during its 32nd Saturday musical play series. The theme of the play was National Integration and Communal Harmony.
The play was inaugurated by VK Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India.
The play was written and directed by renowned writer and former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Government of India ML Dogra. The music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal.
The singers, musician and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal on harmonium, Tilak Raj on dholak, Rakesh Katoch on tabla, Hema Dalotra, Rahul Kumar, Harjinder Kour, Gurjeet Kour, Anu Pandita, Nitin Pandita, Rakshit Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Dhruv Pandit, Samarth Gupta, Sanam Gupta, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, Shival Kumar, L Danika, Bhumika Chib, Devam Jandiyal, Rahul Wanchoo and Mohammad Afroz.
The programme coordinator was Deepak Kumar.
Among others present were Romesh Chander, Chairman, Unison Cultural Troupe, Rajni Gupta, renowned Singer, Hem Raj and Shivani Disgotra.
