JAMMU, Feb 7: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) today staged its 36th musical play ‘Bharat Mahaan’ here in its office premises.
Written by ML Dogra, chairman BLSKS, the play was staged in coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sagam Tru Art and ESRM.
VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was the chief guest while Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, State Health Department, Romesh Chander, director of play were guests of honour.
The programme commenced with songs “Ekta Ekta Ekta Mai Sahas hai……., “Hum Sab Ek hai ……..”, “Khud Jiyo Aur Dusron Ko Jine Do….” which were composed by renowned singer, Raju Bajgal.
The programme was presented on the theme of National integration and communal harmony.
The singers, musicians and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, Rajni Gupta, Neelam Gandotra, Hem Raj, MC Kotwal, Shivani Disgotra, Raju Bajgal (Instrument), Sunil Kumar (Tabla/ Singer), Deevam Jandiyal (Dholak), Rakshit Sharma, Dhruv Pandit, Bodh Raj, Pooja Loach, Samarth Gupta, Kamli Devi, Sanam Gupta, Abhyud, Rajveer, Kuldeep Raj, Ekesh Bhan, Chahat Chadha, Ganshyam Yadav, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, L-Danika, Bhumika Chib, Ayush Bhat, Rahul Wanchoo and Mohd Afroz.
