JAMMU, June 18: To promote the folk culture, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged a musical play titled ‘Hum Sab Ek Hain’ at Hazrat Baba Shamsu-ud-Din (Sabari) Peer Baba, opposite Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu.
The play was presented by BLSKS in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art, ESRM and other social organizations. Besides, various other performing art groups presented mega cultural programme on the theme of National integration to celebrate Ramzan Mubarak.
Written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (chairman, BLSKS), the musical play commenced with songs ‘Duma Dum Mast Kalander’, ‘Hindu Muslim Sikh Isayi Aapas Mai Hai Bhai Bhai’, ‘Diwana Tera Aaya’, ‘Mai To Allha Ki Diwani’ and ’Ek Fakira Aya Shirdi Gaon Mai’.
Love and peace as advocated by the stalwarts of theatre besides National unity and communal harmony were the main theme of the cultural programmes presented by renowned artists/troupes of the State Usha Handoo and party, MC Kotwal and party, KK Joshi and party, Vijay Kumar and party as well as Raju Bajgal and party.
Other renowned artists present on the occasion were Parul Sharma, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Rajni Gupta, Hem Raj, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Rahul Wanshoo, Modh Afroz, Ritesh Magotra, Pooja Gupta and Sanam Gupta.
