JAMMU, Sept 10: To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged its 120th musical play “India Clean” in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu.
The programe was inaugurated by the chief guest, VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India. Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, State Health Department, KL Verma (Tabla Mastero) and Dr Anju Dogra from State Health Department were the guests of honor.
Written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (chairman, BLSKS), the play commenced with welcome song “Swasth Humara Bharat Hoga Ghar-Ghar Main Sochalya Hoga”, “Jammu te Kahmir Sade Leher ek ayi Gyi” followed by skits and dances presented by the artists of BLSKS. The music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal, music instructor, BLSKS.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Nazuk, Anju Magotra, JK Koul, Anil Gupta, Neelam, Kamli, Asha Zaroo, Jeet Raj, Rajat, Shiv Kumar, Gouri Lal, Sahil Gill, Rakesh, Tanuja, Kajal, Zulekha, Raju, Rajesh, Archana Sharma, Kishore, KK Joshi, Manesh, Hem Raj, Chahat, Laita, Surinder, Raj Kumar Bhat, Ashima Gul, Anjana, Sona, Sahil Sharma, Janvi, Pooja Gupta, Lalita, Surinder, Tilak Raj, Sonu Gupta, Rajni Gupta and MC Kotwal.
While speaking on the occasion, BLSKS chairman disclosed that BLSKS in collaboration with Union Ministry of Culture is holding a mega event in the form of musical play “Maa Sheranwali” at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu on September 12 at 1 pm.
