JAMMU, Mar 26: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in  coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art & ESRM presented 95th musical play “Kathoti Main Ganga” today.
The musical play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra  and Music was composed by Renowned Singer  Raju Bajgal. The Program was inaugurated by  chief guest J K Raina, Producer, Director of Films. V K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India. Romesh Chander, Event Director was the guest of honour. The programe commenced with Song “Tum Chandan Main Pani”, “Hari Migi Paduka Nbanai Liya Oh”, “Prabhu More Avgun Chit Na Dharo”, “Ganga Par Kari De Ganga Mayi”, sung by the renowned  artistes Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, M C Kotwal, Hem Raj and K K Joshi. The musical play was highly appreciated by the audience and the chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective and highlighted history of Guru Ravi Das and his teachings.
Earlier welcome address was presented by BLSKS chairman, who highlighted the  teaching of Guru Ravi Dass. He added that Dr B R Ambedkar  understood and pushed  forward the ideas of Ravi Dass. The Chapter on fundamentals rights in the Indian  Constitution bears the impact of Ravi  Dass’ teaching. Guru Ravi Dass spread the message of love for all, devotion to lord, universal brotherhood, honest earning for livelihood and to discard all that does not help in God realization.
The singers , musician and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, Hem Raj, Tilak Raj, Rajni Gupta, M C  Kotwal, Ritesh Magotra, Sher Khan, Saksham , Sonu Gupta, Renu Saproo, Vandana, Vandana Gupta, Devam Jandiyal, Rahul Raina, Kuldeep Raj, Vikas Uppal, Rakshit Sharma, Juhi, Pooja Gupta and Yog Raj,  presented the enthralling performance and the coordinator  of the programe  Master Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks.
