BLSKS presents musical play ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’

JAMMU, Jan 10: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM presented its 84th Saturday Musical Play Series “Nashe Kola Bacho ” on the theme of ” Drug Abuse ” at its open air theatre Janipur, to promote most effective measures to protect the masses especially the vulnerable population i.e. adolescents from getting exploited by the menace of drug addiction and enable them to adopt safe and rational use of drugs by way of generating awareness through effective information and communication technologies.
The play was written and directed by M L Dogra and inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K. Among the guests of honour present were Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, Directorate of Health, Romesh Chander, Director, Samarjit Mohanty and Mrs Reena of event.
The day commemorated as “Drug Abuse ” as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items, specially prepared on the theme “Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio “, “Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho”, “Nai Pee Shraban”, “Bari Kharab Chutki “, “Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma”, Nukkad, Skits ,Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses. The music of the play was composed by Master Raju Bajgal.
The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective.
The renowned singers, musician, actors and students who participated in the programme were Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, K K Joshi, M C Kotwal, Dhruv Pandit, Shaksham Khajuria, Sunil Kumar, Zulekha Farid, Vijay Kumar, Ruksana Kousar, Rajesh Katoch, Rajni Gupta , Aadhishwar Vaid ,Sunny Manhas, Shaan Khan, Anantika Sharma, Shivaal, Asha Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Joginder Singh Chib, Rahul Raina, Nitin, Parul, Daksh, Tej Partap, Hem Raj , Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Deevam Jandiyal , Rakshit Sharma, L-Danika , Renu Saproo, Darsh Kachroo, Rajveer, Arnav Chib, Vandana Gupta, Sumeeta Bhat and Ayush Bhat presented the enthrilled performance and the coordinator of the programe Master Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks.
