BLSKS presents musical play ‘Neel Kanth Gangadhar’

JAMMU, Aug 23: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today presented two mega cultural performances for Amarnath pilgrims at Yatri Niwas in Bhagwati Nagar and staged musical play ‘Neel Kanth Gangadhar’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest, Sunil Kumar Sharma, senior Instrumentalist and Programme Incharge of CBC.
Neeraj Verma and Ritu Sharma, senior staff members of CBC along with the staff of Yatri Bhawan were also present on the occasion.
The all programmes were presented under the guidance of Gulam Abbass, Joint Director CBC.
The songs sung by artists were ‘Shiv Nath Teri Mahima’, ‘Kali Mata Bawe Basdi’ etc.
These songs were written by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS.
Earlier in his address Rajni Gupta, troupe leader BLSKS welcomed Amarnath Yatris at Jammu and highlighted the story of the Ganga Avatran which was included in the play.
Welcoming dignitaries M.C Kotwal, general secretary BLSKS explained the aims and objectives of the programme.
The singers, musician and actors who performed were Usha Raina, K.K Joshi, Sakshi Kumari and others.
