BLSKS stages musical play ‘Maa Sheranwali’

JAMMU, Apr 10: To celebrate nine days of Navratras, Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today staged musical play ‘Maa Sheranwali’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education.
A handout stated that during the nine days of Navratras programmes like devotional songs, one act play, Kanya Pujan etc will be organized.
The function was inaugurated by chief guest Davinder Chadha, Head Pujari, Durga Bhawan Jammu and V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director Health Department, J&K; J.K Raina, Freelancer Producer Director and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department and others were guests of honour.
The programme commenced with welcome song ‘Jai Sheranwali’.
The chief guest talked about Navratri in India.
M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS talked about the importance of the play, music of which was assisted by Raju Bajgal.
Artists who performed in the musical play were Usha Raina, Mahesh Chander Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Sudesh Manhas, Bindia Okheda, Kuldeep Raj, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi and many others.
Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
