BLSKS stages Musical Play ‘Nashe Cha Bacho’

JAMMU, Apr 5: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Welfare Department J&K and Sangam Tru Art Production here today presented Dogri Musical Play ‘Nashe Cha Bacho’ at Old Janipur, Patoli Park under the Direction of Dr. M.L Dogra.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Anju Dogra from Health Department.
Among guests of honour were Vansh Raina, Megha Raina, Ram, Sidharth Manhas and prominent persons of the area.
Nukkad, skits, songs and dances were presented to aware masses about the risk of addiction.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS.
K.K Joshi, vice chairman BLSKS while speaking on the occasion said that volunteers and outreach workers of BLSKS have visited door-to-door in nearby localities of Jammu city to educate the people about ill effects of drug abuse and have assisted the rehabilitation of victims of addiction.
Singers, musician and actors who performed in the musical programme were Mahesh Chander Kotwal, Chahat Chadha, Bindia Okheda, Vandana Gupta, Rahul Kumar, Paramjeet Shami, Zulekha Bano, Kamla Devi, Neelam Gandotra, Sakshi Kumari, Taniya Gupta, Sudesh Kumari, Pummy, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Deepak Kumar Dogra and others.
