BLSKS stages musical play ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’

JAMMU, Feb 21: To celebrate 25th anniversary of Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2024, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today presented musical play ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ in collaboration with National School of Drama, New Delhi and Sangam Tru Art Production.
This play was written by Lalit Parkash, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity while guests of honour were J.K Raina, freelancer Producer-Director, Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, J&K Directorate of Health, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department and Mukesh Singh, Media Person.
The programme commenced with song ‘Rishi Muni Ne Dekha Tha Sapna’ and dances by artists of BLSKS.
Music of the play was composed by M.C Kotwal assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
Earlier the welcome address was delivered by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS.
Singers, musician, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who performed in the concert were Usha Raina, Rajni Gupta, K.K Joshi, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Bindia Okheda, Zulekha Farid, Vandna Gupta, Taniya Gupta, Aparna Sharma, Afroz Aalam, Jatin Sharma, Rahul Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Sudesh Devi, Naiya Digra, Renu Bala and others.
Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
