JAMMU, Mar 17: To celebrate ‘National Immunization Day’, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today staged Nukkad Natak ‘Inder Dhanush’ in coordination with Sangam Tru Art production and National College of Computer Education.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director Health Department and Dr. A.C Bhagat, former Chief Animal Husbandry Officer were guests of honour.
The musical play was written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, former Regional Director Song and Drama Division and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, Jammu.
Earlier in welcome address Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman highlighted that on this day, Indian government and various organizations conduct vaccination drives across the country to immunize children and adults against various diseases.
Singers, musician, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who performed in the play were Usha Raina, M.C Kotwal, Kamla Devi, Sudesh Manhas and others.
Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
