JAMMU, July 15: In its weeklong campaign to aware masses about harms of drug addiction, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Social Welfare Department and Sangam Tru Art Production here today staged Nukkad play ‘Asen Nasha Nai Karna’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Among guests of honour were Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K and Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra.
Specially prepared items on the theme of anti-addiction like-‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacco Kola Bacho’ etc were presented to aware masses.
Artist of BLSKS also presented song ‘Savdhan Savdhan’ which was recorded and uploaded on social media for general public.
The Musical Play and songs were written by Dr. M.L Dogra and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
During campaign BLSKS will presents programmes at Akhnoor, R.S Pura and Bishnah.
Earlier the welcome address was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS who pledged efforts to make J&K free from drug addiction.
Singers, musician, actors and others who participated in the programme were Usha Raina, Raju Bajgal, Sunil Kumar Dalotra, Sunil Kumar Pandit and Renu Bala.
