JAMMU, Feb 8: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) today staged 299th Saturday series play “Hum Sab Ek Hain”in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education at Durga Bhawan Temple, Jammu on the theme of National integration and communal harmony.
The function was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Anju Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital while guest of honour were VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India and RP Amla, former Field Publicity Assistant of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India.
Earlier before starting of the musical play patriotic songs were sung by the artists and students of the institute.
The musical play ” Ekta – Ekta Ka Diya ” written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (Chairman, BLSKS) and the music was composed by Raju Bajgal.
Welcoming the dignitaries, Chairman said National Integration refers to the perception of single national identity among the people of a country belonging to various races, castes and religions while communal harmony refers to the harmony, acceptance and love among the people of various communities belonging to different castes, races and religion. We belong to a country which is characterized by great diversity. It is also a country with a very proud legacy of tolerance and respect for ways of thinking other than one’s own.
Meanwhile, the artists of BLSKS also presented a mega cultural programme at Teacher Bhawan , Gandhi Nagar Jammu during the 55th State Conference of ABVP.
The function was inaugurated by Dr Parminder Singh , State President ABVP while Mukesh Manhas, Secretary, presided over the function. The artists of BLSKS were also felicitated by the organizer of ABVP with mementos.
