BMMK urges CM to renovate Ganpatyar temple

SRINAGAR, Oct 29: Brahman Maha Mandal Kashmir (BMMK) has urged Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to intervene and issue immediate orders for the renovation of Ganpatyar temple located in the Habba Kadal area of the city.
The demand was made during a meeting of the core committee members (Kashmir province) of BMMK at Brahman Maha Mandal, Ganpatyar-Habba Kadal here. The meeting was significant as it was after a gap of 23 years that the members of BMMK met at Ganpatyar.
The committee members viewed that the State Government should take immediate steps for the renovation of Ganpatyar temple that got gutted during militancy. The members decided that the building of BMM at Ganpatyar would be renovated on priority. It was also decided that all the beradari members living in Kashmir valley would be registered immediately.
Dr. T.N Ganjoo presided over the meeting and among others Ajay Bharti, Bhushan Lal Ganjoo and Bharat Raina attended the meeting.
